In Ayurveda, poor vision is known as drishti dosha and is said to be caused by neurological debility, intestinal issues, or congestion.

Eye Exercise

Some eye workouts might help your eyes become more flexible. These exercises increase blood circulation to the eyes and aid in maintaining clear eyesight. They relieve eye strain while also improving your ability to concentrate. You can practice this by rolling your eyes clockwise and anticlockwise for a few seconds each. Blink in between sets to give your eyes a break. Fluttering is another option. For 20 to 30 seconds, blink your eyes quickly. This should be done at least twice a day.

ginkgo biloba

Another ayurvedic treatment for enhancing vision is Ginkgo Biloba. It not only improves vision but also protects against glaucoma and macular degeneration. According to certain research, it may also be good for retinopathy. This plant should not be administered to minors or diabetics. Check with your doctor first to see whether you should consume this plant.

almonds

Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, and antioxidants present in almonds can naturally improve your vision. They also aid in the improvement of memory and focus. You can eat almonds as it is or make a paste of soaked almonds and drink it with a glass of milk. Do this every day for a few months, until you notice an improvement.

Fennel

Fennel was known as “the plant of sight” by the ancient Romans. This herb’s nutrients and antioxidants decrease the formation of cataracts and promote healthy eyes. In a grinder, combine a cup of almonds, fenugreek, and sugar to make a powder. Before going to bed, take one spoon full of this powder with a glass of milk. Repeat this for 40 days to see whether your vision improves.

asparagus

According to ayurveda, asparagus is a fantastic herb for improving vision. This herb has the ability to increase eye health and longevity. Ayurvedic expert Dr. Ganesh Chaudhary recommends a teaspoon of wild asparagus with honey and drinking it everyday with a cup of warm cow milk. Repeat this process for a few months.

Amla

Amla is a well-known ayurvedic treatment for enhancing vision. One of the richest sources of vitamin C is the Indian gooseberry, often known as amla. Mix a few spoons of amla juice into half a cup of water for this. Drink this twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. The juice can also be mixed with honey and consumed.
