3 cups confectioners’ sugar
3 tablespoons heavy cream

Ingredients: 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted Directions:To make the cake: Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In the bowl of an electric mixer or in a large bowl with a hand mixer, cream butter on medium speed for about 1 minute. Add granulated sugar and mix until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes more. On low speed add eggs, one at a time until combined. With mixer or by hand stir in chocolate chips and vanilla.Gradually stir in dry ingredients just until blended. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean from center of the cake. Allow cake to cool completely and then frost. To Frost: Cut cooled cake into 1 inch pieces. Place on wax paper and place in freezer for about 15 minutes or until icing is firm enough to hold together when frozen. For a more durable icing, refrigerate for 10-15 minutes before serving. If you have any leftovers, they can be placed in the refrigerator overnight or on the counter up to 3 days before serving. Eggless Fudgy Chocolate Pudding Cake Recipe : How to Make the Cake:

I use a 5-inch round cake pan, but you could also use an 8×8 or 9×9 square pan as well. If you cut the cake into smaller squares, they would be small individual cakes. The method of preparation is similar and instructions will be the same either way. To get the full effect of this decadent chocolate pudding birthday cake, I recommend serving it on a white plate with a whipped cream frosting. I made mine in my silicone baking mat and it was very easy to do.The recipe for this decadent dessert cake is so simple! I have also included a video tutorial as well, so you can see how quick and easy it is to make this delicious eggless chocolate pudding cake.

STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 350F.

STEP 2: In a large mixing bowl, mix together for 10 minutes until the mixture is creamy. It will be smooth but not too stiff.

STEP 3: Slowly pour in the eggs, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and vanilla extract

STEP 4: Mix well with an electric mixer on medium speed

STEP 5: Add in the powdered sugar

STEP 6: Mix well again

STEP 7: Pour into a prepared pan

STEP 8: Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes.

STEP 9: When the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes

STEP 10: Remove it from the pan and transfer to a serving plate

STEP 11: Pour whipped cream all over the top of the cake
